NAIFA Columbus' 29th Annual I. David Cohen Lifetime Achievement Award Luncheon

NAIFA Columbus' 29th Annual I. David Cohen Lifetime Achievement Award Luncheon was held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Wolf’s Ridge Brewing in Columbus. The luncheon began with a special recognition for the NAIFA-Columbus Past Presidents in attendance, including:

The 2025 Board of Directors Members were then sworn into office and Immediate Past President, Mark Yerke was presented with a distinguished President's Plaque for his service to NAIFA-Columbus this past year. The 2025 NAIFA-Columbus Board of Directors are as follows:

The Lifetime Achievement Award was created to recognize members who have contributed to the life and health insurance industry throughout their careers as well as contributing to their community. As insurance agents became the primary financial advisors to their clients, the scope of the award broadened. In 2004, the award was renamed the I. David Cohen Lifetime Achievement Award in honor of David Cohen who originally conceived the award and for his many years of service to NAIFA-Columbus.

Frank J. Dosch, CLU, ChFC was selected as the 2024 recipient and was introduced by his son, Jared Dosch, during this year's luncheon.

Frank J. Dosch, CLU, ChFC

Frank Dosch is a lifetime resident of Zanesville . He's been associated with Northwestern Mutual for 45 years, 20 of those years as a Managing Director and now serving his clients as a Wealth Management Advisor. At the same time, he has also owned and operated The Forker Company, an employee benefits firm founded by former NAIFA President Robert Forker, CLU.

Frank has been a loyal NAIFA member for 45 years, serving twice as president of his local association, consistently supporting IFAPAC and teaching LUTC classes to members. Qualifying for the Million Dollar Round Table for 40 years, he has had numerous Court of the Table and Top of the Table memberships.

Frank graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in marketing from Ohio University. He received his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations from The American College.

A recognized leader in Southeastern Ohio for his volunteerism, he is past Chairman of the Zanesville Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce, Past President of the Good Samaritan Medical Center Board of Directors, Trustee Emeriti of the Muskingum County Community Foundation, Leadership Board Chair and Foundation Chair of Grace United Methodist Church, Past Treasurer of United Way of Muskingum, Perry & Morgan counties, Past Treasurer and Board Member of the Zanesville Rotary Club, and 15 years as a 4-H Advisor. He also served 13 years as a Director of a $3 billion community bank.

Frank enjoys hunting and trapping, reading, mowing, and adventure traveling around the world with his wife, Amy. Their favorite vacations, however, are their annual NPA vacations… That's Frank and Amy and their nine grandkids (NPA= No Parents Allowed!).
